As Promised...
I have twice raved about the Jozi indie rockers - The Bang. I can't begin to tell you how talented and innovative and completely awesome this band is, whether its live at the local or by listening to thier cd.
But if I can't convince you, read this, and this and this.
I even interviewed them for WickedRock.co.za. Here is the salvaged cd review from the crash of '05.

Saw them at Brixton. Smaller venue, more intimate. Preferable to stadiums. BUT, having said that... Hope you have a kick ass time! Thier shows are amazing!!

Just checked out their myspace site. They have just moved straight to the top of my list to check out since the move. What an awesome sound. Cape Town is so fast asleep there is the most incredible scene up here.
